Men's and Women's Water Polo Regional Champions Crowned

The CCCAA men's and women's regional championships wrapped up Saturday evening. In the North, host Diablo Valley College men and women both won the titles in front of their home crowds. The men defeated West Valley 18-11 while the women beat San Joaquin Delta 11-7. This is both the Viking's men and women's second regional title in as many years. The West Valley men and Delta women will advance to the State championships along with DVC.

In Southern California the Golden West men faced a familiar foe in Long Beach City, with GWC earning the regional title by a score of 10-7.
