COD WINS THE MEN'S GOLF STATE CHAMPIONSHIP-5/14/2012 -
College of the Desert wins the CCCAA Men's Golf State Championship by way of a tie breaker with College of the Canyons. Each team shot a team total of 729 (+19) but the sixth player's second round score is taken into account in a tie situation to determine a winner. Desert's Allan Nousianen scored a 75 while Canyon's Tyler Schwanz carded a 76, making Desert the 2012 State Champions.
COD was led by individual champion, Austin Grey, who shot a 139 (-3) in the 36-hole event at Santa Maria Country Club. For complete results follow the links below.

FOUR TEAMS LEFT IN HUNT FOR THE BASEBALL STATE TITLE-5/13/2012 -
The super regionals have come to an end with four teams advancing to the State championship. In the North Cosumnes River (25-16) and Sierra College (25-15-1) advance. They will face Rio Hondo (38-3) and Orange Coast College (36-5-1) from the South to kick off the double-elimination tournament. CCCAA TENNIS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS-5/13/2012 -
The Fresno City men and Ventura College women won the 2012 men's and women's CCCAA State Championships. Both tennis dual team championships came down to the No. 1 doubles matches with Ventura defeating Sierra, 5-4, and Fresno City beating Mt. San Jacinto, 5-4.
In the men's individuals Foothill's Tobia Galskov won the singles state title while Desert's Sergio Chip and Justin Seller took the doubles. On the women's side Ventura's Julianna Bacelar earned the singles title as well as the doubles, partnered with teammate Layne Gallimore. For complete results follow the links below.

SAN DIEGO CITY WINS THE BADMINTON STATE TITLE-5/12/2012 -
San Diego City College wins the 2012 CCCAA Women's Badminton State Championship at home over City College of San Francisco with a final score of 14-7, their fourth badminton state championship in school history.

In the individuals, PCC's Angie Ortiz wins the singles state championship for the first time in school history while CCSF's Zheng/Khin win the doubles championship at San Diego City College.
